Hope

Tenacious, is it? yes, and how,
though hope may feebly wane and fade.
To many, many, even now,
chances are slim, perhaps waylaid.

Out of reach, you understate;
it's possible if it exists.
Unlikely even if it's late.
The reach expands if one persists.

Just hang on a little longer now,
and staunchly inch a bit ahead.
The dimly distant forces bow;
strategy and loophole are not dead.

Tenacious? Yes, though goal evade,
and seems unstable, to slip away.
hopeless is only hope dead laid;
While life is, hope may win the day.
