The glorious peace

When the declaration of serious assails me,
The shouts of discouragement challenge,
And my soul is shaken with opposition.
That is when the peace that passes all understanding,
comes to my aid and supports my soul.

When His Holy Presence allows me,
To express the thought he touches me,
What a help, a support; I can think, speak and share.
How your joy is my strength, and your goodness supports my mind and my heart.
So the words that come forth are of courage and comfort to start my day.
