Motivation, Affirmation

Ignite the spark;
direct the flame:
Big order when I say,
"I really can't write."
Dispel the dark;
I hear the name;
her mandate was,
"You start."

With insight into what you meant,
"Write right now," her byword lent,
I recognized her confidence to counsel, " try."
to see your thought, perceive your slant,
her changing from "I simply can't,"

Her response, leading, affirmation,
wisdom sensed in brief association.
Now, what's the way, without the wit,
the turn of thought, sound sense of it?

"Write right now," Carolyn expressed,
find meaning, feeling, do my best.
Glad she has written her way, a guide,
I'll join in now, and brave the ride.
